November/December Programs

Announcing our November and December programs! We have lots of fun stuff planned. While there are many programs similar to ones we’ve had in the past, there are several different programs offered for all ages and times – including more evening and weekend programs, like you asked! Registration is requested for most of the programs. Online registration will be available beginning on Thursday, October 27. Hope to see you at some programs!

History Adventure: Ancient Greece

On Thursday, October 13 at 4:00pm, children in grades 3-4 are invited on a History Adventure to Ancient Greece! During the program, we will read an Interactive History Adventure from Ancient Greece where YOU will choose what happens next. After that is over, we will do some activities from Ancient Greece – so you will get to know what it was like to be there over 2000 years ago. This program requires registration; register here.

Pumpkin Decorating

The Bellingham Annual Pumpkin Stroll on the Town Common is on Saturday, October 29th.  Come to the library on the 28th any time between 3-4:30 to decorate your pumpkin.  We’ll have paint, markers, glitter and many other kinds of materials to make your pumpkin unique. Drop in; no registration necessary. Please note you must bring your own pumpkin! Hope to see you then!

Another Session of Alphabits!

Due to our Thursday 10:15am Alphabits class being full, we decided to open up another session. This session will be Thursdays at 11:15am and will begin Thursday, October 6.

Alphabits is an interactive story time for ages 2-5 (and younger siblings) where each week, we use a different letter to be the letter of the week.

To register for the 11:15am story time or to add your child(ren)’s name(s) to the waiting list for the 10:15am Alphabits, click here. “C” you soon!

Book Babies!

We have decided to start a Book Babies story time! The story time sessions will be Tuesdays at 10:30am, beginning on October 4. Babies from birth to 12 months (with a favorite adult) enjoy songs, action rhymes, and playtime and share a book together in each lively Book Babies session. Book Babies gives your baby the opportunity to hear lots of language and interaction. Registration is requested.
